Ember’s Journey

Ohio-born and raised across the map—from Kentucky’s Appalachian foothills to the Pacific Northwest and even the islands of Saipan and Japan—Sheena has always believed stories are what make a place feel like home. Her travels shaped her perspective and continue to fuel the magical, meaningful tales she creates today.

She writes with heart and hope, blending lived experience, faith, and the idea that every journey—no matter how unexpected—leads us closer to who we’re meant to be. When she isn’t writing, you’ll find her watching classic films, curled up with a great book, or watching 80s movies.

Sheena is also an advocate for invisible disabilities, using her platform to inspire compassion, understanding, and support for those who are often overlooked. Her current novel, Ember’s Journey, explores the belief that we all have a star within us, and she is actively developing additional novels across romance, thriller, fantasy, and upmarket fiction—each rooted in transformation and the extraordinary within everyday life.
